Coco-KALEoco

These past couple of days have been scorching! But we have the perfect remedy to cool you down.


This Virgin Pina KaleAda, a little twist to the classic Pina Colada, and you won't regret it! Packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, this little smoothie is bound to chill you down whilst filling up your tummy with fresh, tasty goodness.


C'mon, lets get Coco-Loco!



Ingredients


1 cup VertiVegies Tuscan Kale

1 frozen banana

1 cup chopped pineapple

1 cup coconut water

1/2 cup coconut milk

2 tbs unsweetened coconut flakes



Recipe


Chop the Kale and frozen banana into thin chunks and place it in a blender together with the coconut milk and pineapple chunks. Blend on high till the mix smooth. Add in coconut water to reduce the thickness of the smoothie until you gain the desired consistency.


Pour into a big glass and garnish with coconut flakes and a chunk of pineapple.


Pro Tip


Add in 40 ml of coconut rum (Malibu or Koko Kanu work) to give this smoothie a tasty, boozy touch.
